Since we’re not doing as many face to face meetings lately, we wanted to introduce you to one of our all stars on the College Fund Landscaping team!

Oscar was born and raised in Dallas which makes him a die hard Cowboys fan! After high school, he started working in the restaurant industry as a server and bartender, then in 2016 his father in law introduced him to us.

He joined the College Fund Landscaping family as a helper on the mowing crews, with very little experience. He learned quickly and since he’s bilingual and communicates with everyone he was soon leading all of the mowing crews!

Now, he’s our Sales Account Manager and responsible for reaching out to clients, creating proposals for maintenance services, guiding solutions for client’s properties, and building relationships with the community.

Oscar’s organizational skills make him a great asset to our team. Every night before work, he gets the next day’s schedule ready to make the most efficient use of the crews’ time.  In the morning, he reviews the day with the crew leaders and answers any questions and provides details for large projects.

The best part of his job is seeing the finished product of a job done well. He loves meeting with clients at the beginning and then seeing them smile because College Fund Landscaping was able to solve their problem.

“Sometimes you have a picture in your head of what it’s going to look like, for example if the yard is really muddy and we are working on a drainage project. But there’s nothing like seeing it finally finished and dry in spots that are normally holding water and the customer is very happy! I love to see the expressions on their faces from a job well done.”

We hope you get to meet Oscar soon if you haven’t already! He has a 13 point checklist that he uses to identify any opportunities or issues that can help your landscaping stay healthy and look beautiful.

If you’d like a free consultation about your property we can help. We understand it’s a bit worrisome to meet in person, so we are happy to walk the lawn without you or do it virtually. Let us know your preference by responding to this email.
